High Intensity OBSTRUCTION LIGHTING

The FAA Style C High Intensity Obstruction Lighting System includes the top beacon for towers that include an antenna. This style is meant for towers that are above 700 feet AGL and have an antenna projecting from the top of the tower. The C shaped structures create a 360-degree flash, to cover the entire circumference of the tower. The L-856 and L-865 light flashes white only during the day at 270,000 candelas, 20,000 candelas at twilight, and 2,000 candelas at nighttime.
