This style marking requires day protection using aviation (orange/white) paint and night protection using L-864 flashing red beacon (2,000 cd) and the L-810 flashing red side-light (32 cd) (A1 Systems Only).
Designed to meet FAA Style D obstruction lighting requirements per Chapter 6 of the AC 70/7460-1L Advisory Circular. This style marking requires day protection using L-865 white beacon (20,000 cd) and night protection using L-864 flashing white beacon (2,000 cd).

This system also requires an AOL beacon because the appurtenance is taller than 40'.
